will begin at the Flins factory near Paris in 2016. Renault estimates production will be around 82,000 cars a year.

The decision comes after Renault made a deal with its French labor union on March 13th that allowed it to build NissanNissanNissanJapan, 1932 > present159 models

vehicles at the Renault factory. The deal also allows Renault to build 180,000 more cars a year in France and bring annual French production to 710,000 cars. About 100,000 of the new production capacity will go to new Renault products being built in France, and the rest will be for the new Micra.

"This announcement is good news for Flins, but also for all Renault plants in France. The efforts committed by our employees under the Renault Agreement are beginning to bear fruit. Renault is in line to fulfill its commitments," said Renault-Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn.
