Seat is sending its Toledo Concept to the Geneva Motor Show, but the car appears to be less a concept than a production ready car. It also looks a lot like the Volkswagen Mk.IV Jetta from the exterior.
The front end retains the trademark Seat trapezoidal grill and has front headlights with integrated LED running lights. The new Toledo, despite looking like a sedan, is actually a hatchback that can carry five passengers. The interior is designed to be modern and airy with light coloring and easy to use and reach controls. It has a 500 liter luggage compartment.
“With the Toledo Concept, we are offering a very clear view of the next generation of our mid-range saloon. The new Toledo will be a true SEAT – perfect for the demands of everyday life, with the highest levels of quality and reliability,” said Dr. Matthias Rabe, SEAT Vice President for Research and Development.
Seat did not go into details about the release date for the new Toledo, but it specified that the concept for close to production many times. It seems likely that it will be out later this year. It did not go into any detail about engine options, but expect the normal suite of Volkswagen petrol and diesel four cylinders.
