We had already heard about Ssangyong's XIV-2 convertible SUV concept several weeks ago, but Ssangyong is also introducing an upgraded version of the Korando.
The XIV-2 Concept is a convertible SUV powered by either a 1.6 liter petrol or diesel engine with either a six-speed manual or automatic and standard stop/start technology. The styling is the truck's real party piece. It has a quickly sloping roof with a chunky front end and carbon fiber trim.
The Korando has been revised with new powertrains and modified styling. The truck gets a new 2.0 liter diesel with 149ps that emits 147g/km of CO2 with the two-wheel drive version or 157g/km of CO2 with the all-wheel drive version. The Korando also gets a chrome mesh grill and hybrid wiper blades outside. Inside it gets faux carbon fiber and gloss black trim and an LED instrument cluster. Ssangyong also claims lower cabin noise in the revised Korando.
