SsanYong unveiling new concept in Geneva

's concept reveals at the Geneva Motor Show, and 2014 will be no excpetion. The brand has unveiled sketches of its XLV concept (eXciting smart Lifestyle Vehicle) which can be preview for a new model set to reach the market in 2015.

The XLV is a multi-role B-segment SUV concept featuring significantly lower CO2 emissions thanks to its mild hybrid system which combines a 1.6 litre diesel engine with an electric motor powered by a lithium ion battery.

With length increased by 290mm, comparing to its predecessor XIV-1Ssangyong XIV-1Republic of Korea, 2011 > 20115 photos
, unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, it  provides accommodation for seven passengers in an innovative 2+2+2+1 arrangement. For optimum flexibility the seventh seat slides between the second and third rows.

The XLV is the latest model to showcase SsangYong’s ‘Nature born 3 motion’ design language.
