Toyota is sending a whole host of hybrids to the Geneva Motor Show. Sadly, only two of them are new.
Among the cars that we've already seen at Geneva will be the Yaris Hybrid, the diji, which had previously been called the Fun-vii, the ever-popular GT-86, FCV-R and the NS4 concept.
One of new vehicles that Toyota will show at Geneva will be the FT-Bh concept, which is meant as an ultra-lightweight, hybrid design study. It uses the most advanced materials and technologies available to show the advanced future of hybrids.
The other new vehicle at the show will be the Yaris Hybrid, or Prius C as it is known in other markets. We just did a post looking at the car's specs a few days ago for the US version. It shows that the Prius C will use a 1.5l, four-cylinder engine with an electric motor for a total of 99hp. It has been rated in the US with 53mpg in the city and 46mpg on the highway. The european version gets a slightly different exterior, but might have a different fuel economy rating due to the difference in EU fuel testing. The Prius C begins at $18,950 in the US.
Toyota's press conference will be on March 6 at 10:15 CET.
