Sebastian Vettel and David Coulthard have become the first two drivers to lap the new F1 course in Sochi, Russia, and the track is not even finished yet. The first grand prix for the Sochi track is not scheduled until 2014

The Sochi Olympic Park Circuit will cover 3.7 miles and be the third-longest circuit on the F1 calendar behind Spa and Silverstone. The track is built around showcasing several large buildings that will be used for the Olympics. Parts of the track incorporate public roads, while other parts are purpose built for racing.

sedans. It is hard to get good understanding of what the circuit will be like because it is still so unfinished. Vettel and Coulthard are driving through massive mud puddles, and the course is barely more than a single car wide in several places.

At the end of the video, it transitions to animation to show what the track will look like when completed.
