Sebastian Vettel and David Coulthard have become the first two drivers to lap the new F1 course in Sochi, Russia, and the track is not even finished yet. The first grand prix for the Sochi track is not scheduled until 2014
The Sochi Olympic Park Circuit will cover 3.7 miles and be the third-longest circuit on the F1 calendar behind Spa and Silverstone. The track is built around showcasing several large buildings that will be used for the Olympics. Parts of the track incorporate public roads, while other parts are purpose built for racing.
