Presented at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, Peugeot introduced the 508 as successor of the 407.

According to the French brand, the 508 was developed to reaffirm the Marque’s presence in the large touring car segment.

In terms of exterior design the 508 was inspired by the SR1 concept car. The interior offers comfort, space and a large boot. Other characteristics of the 508 are the e-HDi system (new-generation Stop & Start with improved driveability and economy), and the HYbrid4 technology, with 147 kW (200 bhp) and all-wheel drive potential.

The 508 was presented in two body styles: the saloon and the SW.
