The 5 By Peugeot is a large luxury concept car. Following design line of Peugeot’s vehicles, such as the SR1 or RCZ, and incorporating Peugeot’s HYbrid4 Technology, the 5 By Peugeot allies modern looks with the environmental challenges.

The front shows one of the main design features of the concept vehicle, a front grille that seems to be suspended or detached from the vehicle.
The 5 By Peugeot is powered by an engine using the French make Hybrid4 Technology, which will be features as standard from 2011 in the 3008 model. The concept car that was presented at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, is equipped with a 2.0 l HDi FAP 120 kW diesel engine, located at the front of the vehicle and a 27 kW (37 bhp) electric motor at the rear.

The 5 By Peugeot, which can also be driven in an only electric mode at low speeds, has a fuel consumption average of 3.8 litres/100 km and emissions of 99 g/km, in hybrid mode.
