. The H2 SpeedH2 SpeedPininfarina H2 SpeedItaly, 2016 > 2016 is a sports car with hydrogen technology.   The concept shown is described by Pininfarina as a vehicle halfway between a racing prototype and a production supercar. The H2 Speed is equipped with two electric racing engines which are powered by a hydrogen fuel cell. With an output of 503hp, the vehicle reaches a top speed of 300km/h and the 100km/h landmark is reached in 3.4 seconds. A braking energy recovery system is also included in the concept.   According to Pininfarina, the H2 Speed, whose engine took two years to be developed, is the first racing hydrogen high-performance car in the world.   In addition to the efficiency in the powertrain, Pininfarina also focused on the development of the H2 Speed body in order to optimize the aerodynamic efficiency. The inspiration for the vehicle design came from racing cars, with the goal of creating a car that is beautiful but also high-performance. The sports car roof that connects the top and the rear spoiler is similar to a LMP car. Sporty details include a front splitter and angular rear diffuser.   The powertrain of the H2 Speed was developed by GreenGT, a company specializing in design, production and development of sustainable propulsion system and high-performance.
