The Renault Laguna Monaco GP Limited edition hit the French market in May 2010 after its official presentation at the Geneva Motor Show. The special edition also featured at the Coupé-Cabriolet & SUV Motor Show in Paris. The limited edition version celebrates the long-standing partnership between Renault and the Automobile Club de Monaco.
The fluid lines of the Laguna Coupé have been enhanced by the sporty styling of the Monaco GP edition with the black roof, black exterior mirror housings and 'black shadow' wheels, contrasting with the pearlescent white finish.
The performance of the Renault Laguna Coupé Monaco is based on the 4Control chassis with four-wheel steering which is standard equipment, as well as its range of engines. The Limited Monaco GP Edition is available with three diesel engines and one petrol engine, fitted with a six-speed manual gearbox or with an automatic transmission.
At the top of the range is the 3.0 V6 dCi 235 engine, fitted with a 6–speed automatic transmission. This version has a peak power of 235 hp and a maximum torque of 450 Nm. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds and has a fuel consumption of 7.2 litres/100 km (189g of CO2/km).
