Škoda unveiled the RS 2000 concept car at the Wörthersee GTI-Tuning festival in 2011. The study is based on the Fabia vRS road car and the Fabia S2000 rally car, and equipped with a 2.0-litre, twin-turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing around 200bhp. The concept was designed and built specifically for the GTI-Treffen festival and is not expcted to go into production.

The car just weights 1200kg and had its front and rear tracks widened by over 120 millimetres apiece over the road car, with white 18-inch alloy wheels reminiscent of the rally car.

The design language draws on a rally-style front bumper and cooling ducts, bolstered sideskirts, a rear diffuser and Škoda’s signature metallic green paintwork. The most obvious visual modification is the missing roof and a radically altered glasshouse.
