. In fact it looks like a minature version of that car. It has a steeply raked C-pillar that hides the trunk and makes the car look like more of a hatchback or four-door coupe.

The Astra sedan has a 2,685mm wheelbase with 460l of interior volume, which is 90l more than the five-door. With the seats folded, storage increases to 1,010l.

Opel is offering a wide range of seven engines for the Astra sedan. There are four gasoline engines with between 100hp and 180hp, and three of them are available with Opel's new six-speed automatic that was just revealed for the MerivaMeriva Gen.2Opel Meriva Gen.2Germany, 2010 > present48 versions

Opel has made options available to allow buyers to take the car up market if they want to. These options include Advanced Forward Lighting with bi-xenon headlights, adaptive suspension and SD-card based navigation. Like nearly all modern Opel's, the seats are certifed by the German AGR organization as being healthy for the passengers' back.
