“Opel stands for the democratization of high-tech technologies and high quality features. Traditionally, we make innovations from premium vehicle classes available to a wider customer base and are dedicated to continuing to do so, said Opel CEO Dr. Karl Thomas Neumann.

The 1.6 CDTI emits 104g/km of CO2 and can accelerate the Astra to 100km/h in 10.3 seconds. It has a top speed of 200km/h. It also uses acoustic covers to be one of the quietest diesel engines on the market.

IntelliLink allows users to pair smartphones over Bluetooth and stream audio. It also has a USB port for plugging in devices. Navigation can also be added with destinations added by voice.
