Subaru Impreza (Japan, 2001-2007)

The second generation Subaru Impreza, also nicknamed ‘New Age’ Impreza, was internationally released on the markets in 2001.
The Impreza received a handful of improvements that were supposed to increase the car’s safety, stiffness and refinement. A larger size and a quicker reaction to the driver’s commands were also on the table for the 2nd series Impreza. On the other hand, the first series Impreza fans were quite disappointed with the new car’s increased weight and lowered speed.
The Subaru Impreza II was offered in a few variants, such as the WRX, WRX STi and 2.5RS Imprezas.
