New Museo Ferrari Opens in Maranello with More Space and New Layout

has opened its new Museo Ferrari in Maranello with company President Luca di Montezemolo providing the opening remarks. 

The new museum covers 1,000 square meters more than the previous museum, and it has been completely renovated with a new layout.

“The Museum represents a vital way of showing the general public the history and culture of a company that is strongly focused on the future,” said Montezemolo.

The museum's prime, permanent exhibit is the largest single collection of Ferrari grand prix cars in the world. There are also rotating temporay exhibitions. The first one is titled  “From Cinecittà to Hollywood, all Ferraris in the cinema,” and it features cars like Steve McQueeen's 275 GTB4275 GTB4Ferrari 275 GTB4Italy, 1966 > 196720 photos

restored to look like the car Federico Fellini used in “Spirits of the Dead."
