and multiple EV commercial vehicles. The next electric car in the brand’s lineup will be a Nissan version of the Twizy.

The Nissan EV micro car will use the Twizy’s platform but add more weather protection with a full shell like a car, which the Twizy does no offer. The styling will be similar to the Land Glider concept from 2008.

"The Twizy is also trying to combine these, but we think there are optimizations possible with this kind of vehicle," said Etienne Henry, Nissan's head of product planning.

The cars are meant to be alternatives to a scooter as small electric cars with either a 5hp or 17hp electric motor.
