DS continues to set itself apart from Citröen with the presentation of a new luxury concept at this year's Geneva Motor Show. The
DS E-Tense is an high-performance all-electric two-seat GT and, according to the brand, has a global range of 310km, or 360km in urban mode.
The 402hp output and 516Nm of torque come from the lithium ion batteries that were installed under the carbon fiber monocoque chassis. The vehicle is 4720mm long and 1290mm tall and with lines that recall the 2015
Divine concept.
According to DS, headlights and rear LED turn signals are integrated into the roof, which is an inspiration of the 1955 DS vehicle. In addition, the E-Tense also gets LED traffic lights that can turn a 180° radius and should be implemented in future DS models.
The cabin was designed in collaboration with the French luxury brands Moynat, BRM Chronographes and Focal and took 800 hours to create. The design includes a center console with a clock that can be undocked and used as a watch and a sound system with nine speakers.
