Red Bull builds five cars each year. Two of them are meant for the drivers; one is a back-up car that is brought to each race in a disassembled  state, and the final two are test cars. There are over 6,000 parts on each part car, and each part is quality-checked individuality by ultrasound, x-ray or another applicable test depending on the part. 

According to team principal Christian Horner, each car takes about a week to assemble once all the parts are made.
