The first official image of the car was revealed on Thursday, before the track debut scheduled for Sunday in Jerez, Spain. The MP4-30 is the only car that will compete with the Honda RA615H Hybrid engine in 2015.

Although this is an evolution of last year's car design, the MP4-30 has been heavily influenced by the arrival of Peter Prodromou to the team, the chief engineer who joined McLaren in September from Red BullRed BullRed BullAustria, 2004 > present12 models

With the MP4-30 McLaren expects to have achieved an improvement in terms of design structure and with the help of Honda give Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso a chance to take the team back to the front row on the grid.

In 2015 Honda returns to Formula 1, after an absence of six years. In addition the two brands are renewing a partnership that between 1988 and 1992 resulted in several victories and world titles.
