Red Bull Not Letting Winning Spoil Its Drive

Christian Horner and Sebastian Vettel will be pushing for the next three races to win the championship

Boss Christian Horner says that although the team has just won four consecutive races, it will not let success lead to complacency.

"We certainly cannot afford to be complacent because Fernando Alonso keeps turning up," said Horner.

It is not as if there are no chinks in Red Bull's armor. Mark Webber's KERS system stopped working on lap 20, according to Horner. Alonso is close enough competition that if that happened to Vettel, it could mean the championship.

"We can all prophesize, but it is a question of our focus now being on Abu Dhabi to extract the most out of the car, the drivers, the strategy, and the reliability that we can. It is going to be a question of having three perfect weekends," said Horner.

Horner admits that Alonso is an incredibly consistent and talented driver. At this point, the teams and their strategies will play as much of a role as the drivers.
