While the platform remains the same, the refreshed Camaro gets interior upgrades including a new MyLink radio. The exterior gets aerodynamic upgrades and new trim.
"Camaro has always been associated with iconic design, high performance and driving fun, and we are particularly proud of the new coupe and convertible models. They incorporate new high-tech features that add extra convenience and give customers even more value for their money," said Dr. Thomas Sedran, President and Managing Director of Chevrolet Europe.
On the outside, the 2014 Camaro has a new front bumper with a wider grill, narrower upper grill, functional hood vents, a new trunk lid, horizontal taillights, a rear diffuser and spoiler with integral antenna.
The engine range for the Camaro remain exactly the same with the 6.2-liter V8 with 426hp (432ps) and 420lb-ft (569Nm) that can accelerate to 100km/h in 5.2 seconds in the coupe or 5.4 seconds in the convertible. It is available with either a six-speed manual or automatic.
Inside, there is a standard rearview camera, new color heads-up display and Chevy MyLink radio displayed on a 7in touchscreen with USB, Bluetooth and aux-in connections. It also has voice recognition and can sync with the driver’s smartphone.
European prices for the 2014 model year Camaro will start at 39,990 for the coupe and €44,990 for the convertible in Germany, including 19% German VAT.
