Despite being inspired on the Wraith, Rolls-Royce states that 80% of Dawn's bodywork is new compared to the coupe model. The British brand indicates that the vehicle has space for four adult passengers and that the exterior elements transposed from the Wraith to the Dawn are the doors and the vehicle grille.

By not having a fixed roof, Rolls-Royce states that has worked to make Dawn as quiet and smooth as possible. The brand even claimes that the Dawn is as silent as the Wraith when the top is closed, making it the quietest convertible market. The hood can be opened automatically in 21 seconds at speeds up to 48km/h.

According to the director of Rolls-Royce design, Giles Taylor, the brand created a vehicle that is a two in one: a beautiful car with or without roof. The design team also got some inspiration from 1952 Silver Dawn DropheadSilver DawnRolls-Royce Silver DawnUnited Kingdom, 1951 > present1 photo
