Like its sibling the Toyota Landcruiser, the Lexus LX570 is getting some exterior changes and technological upgrades for next year.
The most obvious change to the new LX570 is the new, corporate Lexus nose that was first shown on the new Lexus GS. Other exterior upgrades include: new 20in wheels, LED daytime running lights, side mirror-mounted turn signals, larger fog lights and newly designed front and rear lights. On this inside there is a 120v outlet in the middle row of seats, a redesigned instrument panel and chrome trim on the instrument panel and air vents.
The powerplant is exactly the same as last year. It is still a 5.7 liter V8 with 383hp and 403lb-ft of torque with a six-speed automatic transmission.
Like on the Landcruiser, the Crawl Control has been updated that automatically adjusts throttle and braking over off-road, bumpy terrain
The redesigned LX570 will be out later this year. Lexus did not announce a price for the newest model, although it will probably be more than the $77,995 base price for the Landcruiser.
