is teasing a crossover concept that it calls the Resonance that it will debut at the North American International Auto Show on January 15. Other than the image, Nissan says that the car will use a hybrid powertrain. 

The brand had already confirmed that it would show a new concept and a new compact hatchback, which is expected to be a new generation VersaVersaNissan VersaJapan, 2006 > 201216 versions

In other Nissan news, it will begin building the Leaf in the US at its Smyrna, Tennessee, factory. It took so long for American production to begin because Nissan had to build a new battery plant next to the assembly plant to supply the LeafLEAFNissan LEAFJapan, 2009 > present29 versions
