Porsche says that the 911 Targa “combines the design of a Porsche original with innovative technical solutions to create a modern classic.” The car is rumored to replace the sliding glass roof from the previous generation targas in favor of a look more like the classic models.

The Cayenne Platinum Edition combines more luxurious trim with the basic six-cylinder engine and comes in special Platinum Silver Metallic exterior paint.

The US was Porsche’s largest single market in 2013 and sold 42,323 cars, a 21% increase. It was the first time that it sold over 40,000 cars in one calendar year there.
