. It is also showing a new composite chassis that will be used in its next super car.

The glass roof is highly reflective from the exterior but nearly clear from the interior. That gives the car privacy and keeps the interior from getting to hot. However, to passengers it is transparent.

The new composite chassis is construsted in the same way that Ferrari builds its Formula 1 chassis. It found that the normal Resin Transfer Moulding procedure was not sufficient for its new supercar. The chassis uses four different types of carbon fiber that are hand-laminated together and cured in Ferrari's autoclaves.

Most of the chassis is made from T800 carbon fiber with strips of unidirectional carbon fiber for reinforcement. The underbody of the car is made from a lighter form of carbon fiber that has high tensile strength and is then covered in Kevlar for protection. In critical areas like the doors stronger T1000 carbon fiber is used. This is the same form used in the nose cone of Ferrari's Formula 1 car.

Ferrari says that the new chassis is 20% lighter than what it used in the Ferrari EnzoEnzo FerrariFerrari Enzo FerrariItaly, 2002 > 20044 photos

. The lighter weight includes the hybrid components on the new supercar. Torsional rigidity is increased by 27% and beam stiffness is increased by 22%.
