in Europe. Its all-wheel drive system is now available with the 2.0-liter D-4D turbodiesel, and there are new color, trim and equipment options.

For 2014, the RAV4 gets a new trim that combines the 2.0-liter D-4D turbodiesel and all-wheel drive. It is Toyota’s Integrated Dynamic Drive System that integrates the all-wheel drive system with torque vectoring, stability control and the electric power steering. It uses a electromagnetically controlled coupling center differential that can send up to 50% of the power to the rear wheels. There is also a lock button that forces a 50:50 weight distribution at speeds up to 40km/h.

The trim comes with a 2.0-liter 122hp and 229lb-ft (310Nm). It emits 136g/km of CO2 and comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission.

The 2014 RAV4 is also with a new Dark Brown Metallic color, new 10-spoke 18in wheel option and new Terracotta and Beige interior color options.

It also has new options including the Toyota Touch 2 infotainment system with a 6in touchscreen display, optional power-operated rear hatch, rear cross traffic alert, blind spot alert, a 9-speaker radio and optional chrome trim on the side sills and hatch.
