The Volkswagen Transporter is a panel van produced since the 1950s. Over five generations, the model has been built on the Volkswagen T platform (T standing for Type) offering a wide range from campervans to pick-ups.
The current T5 generation was introduced in 2003 and the whle line-up received a facelift in 2009 with exterior and interior updates. The current model has a front-engine, front-wheel drive layout, four-wheel drive (4motion) is optional.
