The new version of the 40CV set ot for the high-speed banked circuit at Montlhéry. During the 24 hours Garfield, Plessier and Guillon covered 4,167.578km at an average speed of 173.649 km/h.

With the 40CV the drivers broke the 1000 and 2000 mile, as well as the 2000, 3000 and 4000km records.
