The A-Class Concept was a vehicle unveieled by Mercedes-Benz at the 2011 Shanghai Motor Show.
Described by Mercedes as a ‘car that might have come from another planet’, the A-Class features a long bonnet and low silhouette inspired by the F800 concept. A ‘starry sky motif’ is also evident on the exterior, with the radiator grille consisting of metallic silver dots on black stems to give the logo the appearance of being surrounded by stars. The lighting points of the full-LED high-performance headlamps continue this theme. Mercedes also say that the lines of the exterior have been taken inspiration from ‘the wind and the waves, as well as aviation engineering.’
