Early rumors about the AMG A-class, possibly called the A45 AMG, indicate that it will be powered by a 350hp, 2.0 liter turbocharged engine with 295lb-ft of torque with a 6300rpm redline. The engine uses a BorgWarner twin-scroll turbocharger. The car will use a rear-wheel biased all-wheel drive system and a seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.
