that had been covered in 40kg of knitted wool. 

Marthe and Magnus Schwarz from Neustadt/Holstein knitted a sweater for their Beetle out of wool that covered the entire car. 

“It took us seven months and 40 kg of wool to create this, it’s been so much fun,” said Marthe.

Other cars at the event were done in rock 'n' roll, wedding, beach and 007 themes. 

The Sunshine Tour is also a chance for Volkswagen to show its modern Beetles to fans, which included this year the Beetle CabrioVolkswagen Beetle Cabrio ...Germany, 2013 > present1 photo
