for the final three races of the FIA World Endurance Championship season. McNish and teammate Tom Kristensen are 7.5 points shy of Marcel Fässler, André Lotterer and Benoît Tréluyer in first. Audi has already won the constructors' championship for the year.

all season, but they are switching because Audi thinks that the Quattro is better in traffic.
“Tom and I are switching back to the E-Tron Quattro. Due to its advantage especially in traffic, it puts us on an equal footing with André, Benoît and Marcel in terms of the title race run in which confirms how sporting and even-handed the Audi Sport team operates," said McNish.
The switch has absolutely nothing to do with Toyota winning the last WEC race and openly hopeful of winning the race in Bahrain.
McNish drove the E-Tron Quattro at Spa. He won the pole and finished second.
The Six Hours of Bahrain runs from 4pm to 6pm local time. Over four hours of the race will take place at night but part of the race will still be 35-40°C.
“The six hour race will be my first in Bahrain although I attended the first two F1 Grands Prix and was there six weeks ago for a WEC Press Conference," said McNish.
