is taking a very different approach. Instead of competing for the record, Honda's various American divisions are entering vehicles into the hill climb, all in different classes.
Honda of America Manufacturing will enter eight vehicles, and the teams will have support from the Honda of America Racing Team, Honda Performance Development and both the Ohio and California divisions Honda R&D. The cars include an original Acura NSXHonda NSXJapan, 1990 > present1 photo

The NSX will compete in the Unlimited class and go for an overall win. It uses a turbocharged version of the NSX's V6 engine. Last year, the car finished fourth overall. The rest of the vehicles have limited to no modifications other than for safety. Honda is also partially sponsoring the rally.
