The new addition to the Vantage range shares its mechanical characteristics with the coupeAston Martin V12 Vantage SUnited Kingdom, 2014 > present variant, so that is equipped with a V12 engine of 5.9 liters with 573hp. Thanks to it the V12 Vantage S Roadster can reach 100km/h in 4.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 323km/h, slightly below the values achieved by the coupe variant.
Traction is routed to the rear wheels through an automated manual seven-speed Sportshift III gearbox derived from motor racing provided by Graziano. One of the highlights of the new version goes to the torque of 620Nm with 510Nm available at 1000rpm.
The roadster's weight was increased by 80kg to 1745kg due to the introduction of the fabric roof. Still the car is 20kg lighter than the previous V12 Vantage RoadsterAston Martin V12 Vantage ...United Kingdom, 2012 > present16 photos
