that took second in its class at the Nürburgring 24 Hours. It will be a 45-minute timed race around the entire 8.5-mile long course.
“I’m convinced that the inaugural Aston Martin Festival of Le Mans will generate real excitement among the tens of thousands of devoted motorsport fans who make the annual pilgrimage to this amazing endurance event," said David King, Head of Motorsport at Aston Martin.
The cars entered have a great racing pedigree. The DBR9 GT1 won its class at Le Mans in 2007 and 2008.The rest of the cars have competed in American Le Mans, FIA GT1, GT3 and GT4. The cars will be campaigned by a variety of teams including Gulf Racing and the factory Aston Martin Racing Team. Aston Martin Chairman David Richards will driver one of the Vantage GT4s.
There will be a one hour practice session on Wednesday and one hour of qualifying on Thursday.
