at the Nürburgring, and the new model will almost surely be called the VolanteAston Martin Vanquish Vol...United Kingdom, 2014 > present when it is released. Expect it to go on sale in the early fall, but it could be revealed as soon as the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August. 

Aston Martin will not have to do much to remove the top from the new Vanquish. It will feature a folding soft top to reduce weight and size when folded. Except for some slight aerodynamic changes to the front and rear, it will stay very similar to the current Vanquish.

The platform is stiff enough not to need extra bracing for a convertible model thanks to high-strength steel and carbon fiber. 

The engine will be the same 5.9-liter V12 as the Vanquish coupe with 565hp and 460lb-ft of torque.
