is reporting that its sales were up 25.75% in the first quarter to 2,212 cars sold worldwide, up from 1,759 in the same period last year. 

The United States was Bentley's largest global market with 632 cars sold in the first quarter, a 35.04% increase. It was spurred by the introduction of the Continental GT V8Continental GT V8Bentley Continental GT V8United Kingdom, 2012 > present22 photos

China was its second largest market with 474 cars sold, but it had a 17.99% decrease, which Bentley explains it by saying that buyers are waiting for the Flying SpurContinental Flying SpurBentley Continental Flyin...United Kingdom, 2013 > present11 photos

The UK was its third largest market with 371 cars sold, up 59.23%. Continental Europe had 335 cars sold, up 61.84%.

Its final major market is the Middle East where it sold 237 cars, up 41.07%. 

Bentley plans to grow by opening 30 new dealers this year, eight of which were opened in the first quarter. It will also have the new Flying Spur on sale in the coming months.
