with 1600hp and a top speed of 290mph. It would reportedly be capable of accelerating to 60mph in 1.8 seconds. It appears that those rumors may be true at least according to a Bugatti engineer.

“We are working on the next super-sports car. The big challenge will be reducing weight – we are looking at some incredible technologies, such as wheels made entirely from carbon fiber. We’re considering hybrids, too," said Bugatti chief vehicle engineer Jens Schulenburg.

To make the extra power, Bugatti is reportedly considering increasing the W16's displacement from 8.0-liters to 9.6-liter. Although, Schulenburg says that a hybrid is not out of the question either.
