Caterham working on sub-£50k, Two-Seat Coupe

Caterham is working on its first real coupe as a model with two seats that costs less than £50,000. The car might even be offered with a CD-player, which for Caterham is a major luxury. Curb weight should weigh in at less than 1,000kg. 

The price of the new model will definitely be below £50,000 and will likely be between £30k and £45k. It will start at a coupe and a convertible will come later. The new coupe will go into production in 2015 with a naturally aspirated engine, possibly from Ford.
