. The first year it sold just 9,946 EcoBoost engines. Sales jumped to 15,117 cars in 2010, and last year Ford sold 127,683 in North America. By the end of next year, Ford will offer EcoBoost engines in 15 cars in North America. It expects that 60% of new Fusions will be sold with EcoBoost engines, and 90% new Escapes will have them. 

Ford sold 141,000 EcoBoost engines in 2011.
