Hybrid is just hitting the market in the US, and it is already a sales and critical success. It is outselling the Prius VPrius vToyota Prius vJapan, 2011 > present3 photos

, and it has been nominated as the official car of the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show. 

For its first full month of sales in November, the C-Max Hybrid sold 4,848 units compared to 4,456 Prius Plug-Ins and Prius V cars. 

“The C-MAX hybrids are off to a great start and our dealers and customers, especially in California, cannot get enough of them early in the launch,” said Dave Mondragon, Ford's marketing manager. 

The C-Max Hybrid will also be the official car of the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show  that runs from January 8-11 in Las Vegas. The show introduces all of the new consumer gadgets especially TVs, cameras and stereo equipment that will be introduced through the first half of the year.
