as performance cars at the SEMA show this year. We saw Chrysler's SEMA offerings last week, but Ford does things very differently. Where Chrysler's Mopar parts division creates its own parts and tunes most of its own cars for the show, Ford gives its cars to tuners for modifications. It has brought 11 cars to SEMA.
Ford will bring two versions of the Escape to SEMA.
The VACCAR Urban Escape Adventurer is an off-road car built for the city. It has oversized tires mounted on black wheels, grey paint and a roof rack.
The HPP Escape is a lowered version of the Escape with bright green paint and slight body modifications.
It will also bring five versions of the Focus ST.
The ST by Tanner Foust Racing is meant to be a car for track days and hard driving. It has a fully adjustable front and rear suspension, Magnaflow exhaust and a custom body kit.
The ST by Bojix Design is meant to be tasteful and European. It is painted orange with a black hood and black trim.
M&J Enterprises worked with Cosworth and Ford Racing to increase power to 330hp. It also gets a Ford Racing suspension and Cosworth wheels.
Galpin Auto Sports created an ST with a race-ready look. It has a coil-over suspension, larger brakes, methanol injection, rally body kit and upgraded interior. It is painted charcoal, silver and blue with white accents.
Steeda Autosports creates an ST that uses its own G-Trac suspension, Brembo brakes and 19in wheels.
Finally, Ford will have four different versions of the Fusion at SEMA.
The Tjin Edition Fusion is meant to blend luxury and performance. It is painted a creamy beige with a carbon fiber front lip, bi-xenon headlights, Katzkin leather, and an upgraded stereo system. It also gets a custom side exhaust, 21in wheels, Baer brakes and coil-over suspension.
The MRT Performance Fusion is built to be a stylish streetcar. It is painted black and dark blue with blue wheels and blue trim.
Ice Nine Group has created a Fusion sponsored by Monster. It is inspired by Australian V8 Supercars and has been lowered as far as possible. It gets neon green paint with black trim.
The Fusion by Air Design is certainly the most upscale version. It gets a painted carbon fiber body kit and lowered ride height.
The SEMA Show runs from October 30 to November 2 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
