greystyle: new smart fortwo special edition

In 2010 smart is releasing, in the German market, a new special edition version of the fortwo. The greystyle edition gives a new sportive style to the fortwo but doesn’t forget the model’s and the brand’s eco-friendly tradition. The new fortwo will be available as a coupe or a cabrio.

The new version of the fortwo has striking exterior features such as the exclusive matt dark grey finish and yellow mirror caps bearing the edition lettering. It features 6 spoke alloy wheels painted in the same colour as the bodypanels also contribute for its sporty look. In the interior yellow accents can also be found in instrument bezels and seat stitching.

The greystyle edition is based on the passion coupé or the passion cabrio and comes with a petrol engine with two different options: a 52 kW (71 hp) engine with micro hybrid drive technology or a 62 kW (84 hp) engine. As for its environmental friendliness, the new special model fulfills the strict exhaust gas standard EU 5 but the 52 kW variant is moreover equipped with micro hybrid drive (mhd) technology as standard, an automatic start/stop system that shuts down the engine as soon as the driver brakes and the vehicle's speed goes below 8 km/h and that enables fuel savings of almost 20 percent.

The greystyle special edition fortwo will be available in the German market from a price of €16,135.
