will unveil at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show the new generation fortwo cabrio, the model completes the relaunch of the brand with a new generation of models. The new variant is ideal for those who like to drive feeling the air, but also offers a wide range of options.

 

In a true three in one, the new fortwo cabrio can be driven in three different modes. In the first the top can be fully open, in a second mode the canopy can be half retracted by giving a targa look to the vehicle. Finally the fortwo cabrio can also be driven with a fully enclosed roof, with a similar shape as the coupé variantsmart fortwo 1.0Germany, 2014 > present.

 

The roof has a dimension of 1,8m2 and despite being 4% larger than its predecessor it is significantly thinner with a thickness of only 20mm. The side bars can be removed and stored in a particular space located at the rear of the vehicle.

. The Tridion cell has a predominant role in this more muscular image of the new generation of brand models. As in the other two models, customization will also have a very important role in the cabrio variant. In this case it extends to the roof which can be ordered in black, blue or red. The removable bars, they receive the same color of the Tridion cell.

 

The new smart fortwo cabrio hits the market in February 2016, but orders will begin in November. In terms of the fortwo cabrio engine receives the same range as the coupé with 71hp and 90hp turbo versions. Transmission options include a manual or an automatic dual-clutch.
