HRT Possibly Change Drivers at Silverstone UPDATED

Unconfirmed reports have Australian driver Daniel Ricciardo taking over for Narain Karthikeyan at HRT next weekend at Silverstone.

Neither Torro Rosso, HRT, nor Riccardo have confirmed these reports yet. It is unknown whether the change is permanent or temporary.

Ricciardo won the 2009 British F3 Championship. He got his start in F1 as a member of Red Bull Racing's young drivers test and is currently a test driver at Torro Rosso.

Along with Mark Webber, he will become the second Australian on the grid.

*Update: HRT officially announced that Ricciardo will be joining the team.*

Red Bull sending Ricciardo to HRT to give him race training. Let's see what he can do with the slow pace F1

Great news.I would like to see him in a better car but as least he will have full 3 days of leaning which he could use in some better team.I just hope the car stays reliable. Hope Hulkenberg get a sim...

It will be for the rest of the season so it will be a little bit more than 3 days to get race practice :P
