Jaguar is preparing to take an important step regarding its expansion strategy with the launch of the
F-Pace, the company's first SUV in 80 years of history. The first image of the high-performance crossover was unveiled before the world premiere scheduled for the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The only revealed image proves the strong resemblance in terms of silhouette with the
C-X17 concept that led to the development of the new F-Pace. The model has a dynamic and sporty look that promises to please the great lovers of driving.
Over the past months we have seen camouflaged prototypes being submitted to tests imposed by Jaguar which have highlighted its capacity to be used in everyday life and exceptional handling and maneuverability of the new F-PACE. Among the tests were Tour de France, were it took part as supporting vehicle of Team Sky, enduring more than a quarter of a million miles of extreme testing at JLR test centres in Dubai and Northern Sweden and driving through some of the most difficult roads in the world.
In the year that Jaguar celebrates 80 years of existence the F-Pace joins a renewed range that includes the
new XE, the
updated XJ, the just launched
XF and the extremely successful
F-Type.
Full details of the all-new Jaguar F-PACE, including technical specifications and prices will be confirmed at the press day of the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt, on September 15.
The arrival on the market of the new Jaguar F-PACE is scheduled for 2016.
