Jaguar Will Salvage C-X75 Tech in Future Cars

C-X75 concept have been cancelled mean that just three lucky buyers in the world will get the 500hp hybrid supercar. However, Jaguar will not allow the development to be wasted and will use much of the C-X75's tech in future cars.

. The two companies now have a relationship and plan to work together on future vehicles. The car also used a new wheel casting technique that is 40% lighter than the previous method. It will make its way to future cars as well. 

The 500hp, hybrid four-cylinder will probably not make its way to future cars, but the hybrid tech almost certainly will. Jaguar is planning to add hybrid engines to its current lineup in the very near future. Unfortunately, the turbine engine from the original concept will likely never see production as well. 

“Considering the economic landscape, making a £800,000 to £1m supercar seems wrong. There are more important projects we are working on," said Jaguar Global Brand Director Adrian Hallmark. 

The C-X75 prototypes are reportedly capable of accelerating to 100km/h in 2.8 seconds with a 205mph top speed. However, only three people will only actually find out if that is true.
