has big plans for the Tokyo Motor Show on November 20. It is bringing the production version of the RC coupe and a new concept version of the LF-NXLF-NXLexus LF-NXJapan, 2013 > 2013 crossover that highlights its next-generation turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

The RC is possible Lexus’ worst kept secret. The rumors of the car going into production have been rampant since the LF-CC concept debuted in 2012, and it revealed the racing version of the RC for the Super GT series in Japan a few months ago.

Regardless, the RC is a fantastic looking, high style coupe that uses the chassis from the Lexus ISLF-NXLexus LF-NXJapan, 2013 > 2013. The production version is nearly identical to the concept with a sharp, pointed front end and rearward sweeping passenger area.

At the front, it has the widest and lowest version yet of the company’s spindle grill with triangular headlights and L-shaped LED running lights.

Inside, the RC gets an exclusive lighting package over the IS with LED lighting that is reflected upwards to bathe the cabin in a warm glow. It also features wood trim and an exclusive leather color called Clove.

When it goes on sale in 2014 it will launch with either a 3.5-liter V6 as the RC350 with 306hp or 2.5-liter hybrid four-cylinder as the RC300h with 223hp.

Compared to the IS, the wheelbase is identical, but the length and width of the RC are about 1in (25.4mm) larger.

The company hopes to attract new customers that do not consider Lexus a sporty brand with the new car, and it wants to add more style to the brand.

Tokyo is also seeing the next evolution of Lexus’ LF-NX concept. The latest version uses the company’s next-generation 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which will likely debut in the production version when it goes on sale.

The styling of the concept also gets an upgrade with a new front spoiler, and inside, it gets Lexus’ remote touch interface infotainment system
