The Paris Motor Show has been chosen by Maserati for the presentation of what is to become the fastest, lightest and most powerful car in the brand’s range: the GranTurismo MC Stradale.
The new GranTurismo has been inspired by the Trofeo GranTurismo MC and the race-winning GT4 motorsport models. The two-seater Maserati will receive a razor-sharp handling and will be able to break the 300 km/h barrier.
The GranTurismo MC Stradale incorporates the handling and aerodynamic experience gained from Maserati’s three racing programs. The car is an answer for the demand for a GranTurismo which can offer both on-road driving needs and race-driving desires in a balanced way.
The new Maserati produces more aerodynamic down force but doesn’t produce more aerodynamic drag. With 450 hp of power output the GranTurismo MC Stradale doesn’t use more fuel and is more agile without sacrificing the GranTurismo S’s highly praised ride quality.
The Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale will go on sale on the first quarter of 2011
